you play as a skeleton, who was double crossed, stripped of his bones and locked up at the top of a castle dungeon tower, the only body parts you have left is your skull, where after busting out of the cage you where confined to, your tasked with going level to level, to free other locked up skeletons, and battle bosses to retrieve your body parts, with each body part granting you new abilities to your move set as you find them
